Do you have a hard time making decisions? I know, urgghhhh right? What’s really going on, just decide eh? Well, if it were that easy many people would.

Perhaps we made a “a wrong choice” in the past and we got in trouble for it or it didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to and that painful experience made an imprint in our subconscious and it’s now creating fear of making another “wrong choice.”

I used to look at ALL the possible angles before I made a decision, big or small and I used to go to so many different markets shopping for the “best price” for food.

Was I procrastinating because I didn’t want to make the “wrong” decision? Was I afraid of looking stupid or having people angry at me if I “failed?” Was I afraid of losing LOVE from my family if I spent money on me that wasn’t “necessary?” Yes, all this was going on deep below, but all I knew consciously was that making a decision was hard for me and I felt anxious in my body.

So, if we’re having a hard time making decisions today, it’s because our energy is stuck in the past or we’re fearing the future. We’re seeing from a limited perception of reality. We don’t trust ourselves because we haven’t seen “good” things happen from our past experiences.

In order for us to think more clearly, we need all our energy in the present and our conscious and subconscious aligned.

Some of us would rather stay the same, even if we’re not happy, just because making a new choice that creates change can be scary.

Here’s the deal, we can never know what will happen until we take the step and see AND we create our reality by how we perceive and what we say things mean.

For someone who LOVES themselves, they see each choice/decision as a great learning opportunity no matter what happens. For someone who’s in fear and needing LOVE and approval from others, they’re often afraid to make their own choices and they stagnate.

Are they bad, no, no one is bad, we each have our reasons and unresolved issues inside that control our lives. So many of us want someone else to make our decisions for us so we don’t have to take the blame or fear punishment if it “goes wrong.” (most often we’re the one’s punishing ourselves though)

We can get support and assistance in noticing our options and what’s going on internally, but ultimately, if we want to BEcome self empowered, we need to make our own decisions, I know, urggghhh and YAY eh?

We can see it as scary and hard or exciting and easy, we get to choose how we want to feel and perceive.

If you’re like me, honoring and loving yourself wasn’t okay, so any decision that reflect loving yourself, you probably question if it’s okay or you push away what you know is the most loving decision today.

Working on the core issues, what’s going on internally that’s creating our reality is key in setting ourSELVES free. This is how we grow into self fulfilling BEings.

Yes, self fulfilling means BEcoming self empowered, taking responsibility for our own lives and noticing what’s going on deep inside. Instead of running away from ourselves, we face our fears and sometimes we cry many tears. If this happens it’s a good thing, we’re releasing that pent up energy so we can think more clearly and bring LOVE to the parts that are hurting.

When we’re in fear and responding from past hurts and wounds, we’re in fight/flight and we’re not seeing with clear sight. When we’re more relaxed, instead of listening to the “facts” we listen to our heart and soul and tune into what’s best for us in our earthly show.

This will take practice, at least it did for me, as with anything, we need to recondition our minds and bodies to think, feel and act in a new way, until it becomes habitual today.
